Paul Daniels' MasterClass - Las Vegas ----------------- Message from Andrew Lock - Paul Daniels Manager Paul Daniels has teamed up with The 2004 World Magic Seminar in Las Vegas to present a brand new MasterClass on the business of magic. The first series in Spring 2003 received overwhelming praise from magicians on all continents (including some of the top names in Magic), with a mammoth and highly enjoyable 7 hour (all day) instruction on all aspects of the magic business. Many magicians had never experienced anything like it and the testimonials on the official website say it all. It is clear that many attendees earnings have gone through the roof as a result of implementing the strategies revealed at the MasterClass. The new MasterClass will take place on January 11th 2004 as a special add-on event to the WMS. The day will feature all new content about improving performance skills, as well as a wealth of instruction, tips and advice on how to develop a career in magic, whatever your current level of experience. If you are yearning to do more with your magic and desire to reach a much higher level of proficiency in all aspects of the business and art, you should attend the MasterClass if you can. From The Paul Daniels Collection ----------------- Message from Paul Daniels (UK) Life just got very busy again but I have come up (hopefully) with a timetable and system that will see stuff start to drift onto eBay again. Some will be collectable, some workable, some for display in the 'den' and all, I hope, of some interest to someone. I need the space!!!! The thing to remember is that there is life outside America so over here in the UK we use www.ebay.co.uk and I hide my stuff under the general title of 'From the Paul Daniels Collection'. I am getting used to this now so I am including with every item a small certificate of authenticity, signed by me, so that in the future people will have a clue as to where it came from. So many people have asked me to let them know when items old and new are for sale and I simply cannot keep up with that, so it is best to do a quick search for me every six days on www.ebay.co.uk and see what is there. Fingers crossed there should be something! Paul Daniels www.pauldaniels.co.uk www.pauldanielsmagicshop.com ----------------- 5. Looking For Instructions ----------------- Message from Jim McMurray - LIMEYMAC@aol.com I have a set of Larry Beckers Ultimate FlashBack, and I can't find my instructions. Do you know anyone who may have a copy? Any feed back would be appreciated. ----------------- 6. Columbus MAGI-FEST, Columbus, Ohio ----------------- Message from Jep Hostetler (US) For the 73rd consecutive year, the past 21 of which have been under the direction of Jep Hostetler (Past International President of the International Brotherhood of Magicians), promises to be another in a long list of "winners". With close-up performers from Argentina (Henry Evans), Paris (Boris) and the United States (Mike Powers, Obie O'brien and Dan Garrett) in tow, and Star of Magic Terry Evanswood in The Grand Illusion Show, on the bill, it looks like another sell-out. (A sell out is 900 registrants, the limit for the hotel). For a quick update, why not check out the MAGI-FEST web site at www.magifest.org? The closing show will include Greg Gulamerian, Larry Taylor, Dan Gerrett, Henry Evans, Kristi Toguchi and Joel Ward. ----------------- 7. Don Drake Having Two Surgeries Performed ----------------- Message from Don Drake (US) Hi all, I'll be out of circulation for a while, as I'm having two surgeries performed in the next couple of months or so. Without them, I'm afraid I'll end up in a wheel chair or worse. I will still be at home, and marketing my Black Art books, videos and illusions over the internet. I will not be available for lecture for a few months, but I hope that will change soon. I have a new DVD coming out in a few weeks called Fantasy In Black, which gives a more complete and detailed lesson in how to use all forms of my Black Art methods, including Close Up and the new trick The Fractured King, suggested by Allan Ackerman. My new book More Black Art Breakthroughs will also be available soon. Thanks to all of you for your kind support, and don't forget to support WAM and Walter Blaney as well, the link and banner can be found on my website. I'll be lurking, DONDRAKE ----------------- 8.
