Margaret Hellen (widow of Colin Smith) reported the recent death of Molly Knipe, wife of Fred Knipe from Hamilton to me yesterday, the morning of the funeral on Saturday August 27th.

Molly had been in poor health for some time and was looked after by Fred, now in his 91st year. Fred is still driving his car and living at 17 Oban Avenue Hamilton if any of our older New Zealand magicians want to drop him a line.

Fred was one of the members of the Waikato Magic Society, together with Colin Smith and Harold Chandler who helped found our New Zealand periodical "Magicana" back in 1953 (when I took up magic!)
